AutomationDirect has worked with our manufacturer to re-launch our ProSense brand of existing universal signal conditioners under new part numbers (SCU-1400, SCU-1600, SCU-PDM1) that provide the same form, fit, function, and add Factory Mutual (FM) approval for hazardous locations, all at a lower price!

The existing 884114, 884116 and 884501 part numbers will be retired when our remaining inventory is depleted. Please consider the SCU-1400, SCU-1600 and SCU-PDM1 part numbers as direct replacements.

SCU-1400, SCU-1600, SCU-3100 Signal Conditioners

Provide the flexibility to convert, transmit, scale and isolate signals from a wide variety of process sensors and controller I/O. Programmable using the optional SCU-PDM1 detachable display front with available help text. Parameters include process calibration, signal simulation, password protection and error diagnostics.

SCU-8400 Signal Conditioner

Provides the flexibility to convert, transmit, scale and isolate unipolar and bipolar signals from a wide variety of process sensors and controller I/O. The scalable input accepts signals up to +/-100 mA or +/-300 VDC with spans as low as 0.5 mA or 25 mVDC.

SCU-7900 Signal Conditioner

Provides the flexibility to accurately measure AC RMS current or AC RMS voltage. The selectable input can measure AC supply voltage up to 300 VAC RMS or AC current transformers up to 5A RMS. Programmable using the optional SCU-PDM1 detachable display front with available help text. Parameters include process calibration, signal simulation, password protection and error diagnostics.

  • Accurate measurement of AC RMS voltage up to 300 VAC RMS or AC RMS current to 5 A RMS (Not suitable for VFD or non-sine wave sources)
  • Selectable input and output ranges and two-point field scalability
  • cULus and CE marked

SCU-PDM1 Programming Display Module

Easily connects to the front of a Universal Signal Conditioner to enter or adjust module programming parameters and to display process data and status.

  • For Use With: SCU-3100, SCU-1400, SCU-1600, SCU-8400, SCU-7900
  • 4-line LCD display for visualization of process data and status: Line 1 shows input signal, line 2 shows units, line 3 shows analog output or user defined text and line 4 shows communication and relay status
  • Snaps onto the front of the universal signal conditioners
  • Can be moved from one module to another and download the configuration of the first transmitter to subsequent transmitters
  • Can be installed or removed with signal conditioner powered or not
  • Required for programming all SCU Series Universal Signal Conditioner models
